Question 1

How do I connect iVCam to my computer?

Accepted Answer

To connect iVCam to your PC, follow these steps: 1) Download and install the iVCam PC client from the official website (e2esoft.com). 2) Install the iVCam app on your phone from the App Store or Google Play. 3) Make sure both your phone and computer are connected to the same WiFi network. 4) Launch the iVCam app on both devices and they will automatically detect each other and connect. If you prefer a wired connection, simply connect your phone to your PC via USB cable and enable USB mode in the iVCam app settings for a more stable, low-latency experience.

Question 2

Why is iVCam not connecting to my PC?

Accepted Answer

If iVCam is not connecting, try these troubleshooting steps: 1) Verify that both your phone and PC are on the same WiFi network. 2) Check your PC firewall settings and make sure iVCam is allowed through (Windows Firewall may block it by default). 3) Temporarily disable any antivirus software that might be blocking the connection. 4) Restart both the phone app and the PC client. 5) Try connecting via USB cable as an alternative -- this bypasses all network issues. 6) Ensure no VPN is active on either device, as it can interfere with local network discovery.

Question 3

How do I remove the iVCam watermark?

Accepted Answer

The iVCam watermark is displayed in the free version. To remove it, upgrade to iVCam Premium by tapping the upgrade button within the app. Premium also unlocks higher resolutions, removes ads, and provides access to advanced camera controls. You can find the upgrade option in the app's main screen or under Settings. Both subscription and one-time purchase options are available depending on your platform.

Question 4

Does iVCam work with OBS Studio?

Accepted Answer

Yes, iVCam works seamlessly with OBS Studio. Once the iVCam PC client is installed, it registers as a virtual camera device on your system. In OBS, simply add a new Video Capture Device source and select 'e2eSoft iVCam' from the device list. iVCam is compatible with any application that supports DirectShow video sources, including OBS Studio, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Skype, Discord, and many more.

Question 5

How can I request a refund?

Accepted Answer

Refund policies depend on where you purchased iVCam. For purchases made through the Apple App Store, you can request a refund via Apple's Report a Problem page (reportaproblem.apple.com). For Google Play purchases, visit the Google Play order history in your account settings. Refund requests are typically handled within the store's standard refund window.
